DOUBLE SUMMER APPOINTMENT WITH GEOTECHNICS AND WITH MR. VITTORIO MANASSERO

The first appointment will be at the Cambridge University (UK), within the framework of the "10th International Symposium on Geotechnical Aspects of Underground Construction in Soft Ground" on June 27th through 28th 2022. At this symposium Mr. Manassero was selected to give the General Report of the Session T3 "Design and application of ground improvement for undeground construction", to be held on June 27th (Tuesday) from 10h00 to 11h45.

AFTES XVIth INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS

PARIS, 6-8 SEPTEMBER 2021 

Our Technical Director Vittorio Manassero will attend in Paris, from 6 to 8 september 2021, the XVIth International Congress of AFTES (Association Française des Tunnel et de l'Espace Souterrain). Our Technical Director Vittorio Manassero was appointed by UNI (Italian Standardization Body) and CNI (National Council of Engineers) Italian representative within the Working Group CEN/TC288/WG20, dealing with the new code on Artificial Ground Freezing, within the framework of the Execution of Special Geotechnical Works.

Our Technical Director, Vittorio Manassero, will be attending and speaking at the XXVI Convegno Nazionale di Geotecnica (26th Italian Geotechnical National Congress) in Rome from 20th through 22nd June, at the training course on "Directional Drilling and Microtunnelling in Special Geo-engineering Works" at Turin Polytechnic from 29th through 30th June and at the 5th International Grouting Conference (Grouting 2017) in Honolulu, Hawaii, from 10th through 12th July.

Training Course

Directional drilling and microtunneling to perform
special geo-engineering works

Our Technical Director Vittorio Manassero will give a presentation at the training course on “Directional drilling and microtunneling to perform special geo-engineering works”, at Turin Politechnic on 12th May 2016.

The presentation will be entitled “Applications of Directional Drilling to landslide stabilization: micro-drains of unconventional length and bottom discharge of draining wells”.

Our Technical Director Vittorio Manassero will attend the WORLD TUNNEL CONGRESS 2016 in San Francisco (USA) from 23rd to 28th April 2016.

During the Congress, as part of the “Tunnelling Advances through Innovation” session, on Tuesday 26th April Mr. Manassero will give a presentation entitled “An advanced shaft construction method to install ten ventilation shafts, as applied in the Naples Metro project”. The presentation will cover the design and construction of 10 ventilation shafts at Naples Metro Line No. 1 using the VSM (Vertical Shaft-sinking Machine) mechanized method.
