WORKING GROUP CEN/TC288/WG20
EUROPEAN CODE ON ARTIFICIAL GROUND FREEZING
Our Technical Director Vittorio Manassero was appointed by UNI (Italian Standardization Body) and CNI (National Council of Engineers) Italian representative within the Working Group CEN/TC288/WG20, dealing with the new code on Artificial Ground Freezing, within the framework of the Execution of Special Geotechnical Works.
The working group in composed by technical experts from 7 European countries: France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Switzerland and The Netherlands.
The first meeting was held in Paris at the head-office of the Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics on September 24th 2019. Next meeting will be held in Zurich at the Implenia head-office on January 23rd and 24th 2020. The works for the new code will last 3 years.
